“Rufina Donna”
This classic red roan filly is the only one of her colour and breeding in Australia (mature 15.3hh), there is nothing else like her out there, we wanted to breed a unique ‘designer’ horse and here she is!
An absolute beauty this girl is just so eye catching, she has legs that go on forever, a fabulous length of rein and floating paces, she is truly one of a kind with her spanish heritage and red classic roan colouring.
She is by Heza Blue Tom Cat (Imp Paint Performance bred) and out of Rangemore Bella Donna (Australian Andalusian) both her parents have beautiful movement and presence and just like them she will also make a performance horse deluxe.
Her spanish name Rufina Donna means ‘red haired’ lady, which we felt was most fitting. This special filly showed all the Spanish movement and style from day one and continues to amaze us with her airs above the ground and natural piaffe and passage, she is certainly going to turn out to be an exceptional horse at maturity.
‘Inda’ (paddock name) has the most lovable personality and is extremely intelligent and gentle. She will be fully handled before she goes to her new home, being able to be travelled confidently, lead softly and with respect, tie up calmly, and have all her feet trimmed with ease.
BNT Rufina Donna can be registered 1st X Andalusian and with the newly formed Roan Society of Australia.

Buying a BNT Baby
The horses we raise here are handled by us gently yet firmly from birth, they are not spoiled or overly desensitized. Their feet are trimmed regularly and correctly, they are fed with non processed, natural feed and vital mineral supplements.
They are taught to give to and understand the halter with a great deal of care for their well being, never just tied up to a post and hope for the best. When they are weaned they are NEVER isolated or locked away in a stable for hours on end (which causes severe emotional stress to a young horse).
They are taught how to yield to a feel and cope positively under pressure. Their bodies and minds are not put through the trauma and physical damage that bad handling/weaning practices can cause.
We choose to keep our breeding program small so that we can put the time needed into each of our foals and work with them consistently while they are on their dams and after they are weaned, this creates a confident mature young horse that is a breeze to handle in all respects with a great attitude towards humans.
Buying one of our own BNT horses means you have bought yourself a trained, respectful and sound minded equine friend. You will be able to enjoy spending time with your young horse right from the start and as he/she matures, grooming and handling daily without fuss, a real pleasure to have around.
